Forge Consulting Limited was established in 1982 as an independent marine and underwater civil engineering consultancy. We specialise in supervision and inspection of civil engineering works, underwater and in confined spaces.
Our project and client list includes a wide variety of marine and inland structures: harbour works, locks, weirs, sluices, coastal defences, sewers, bridge foundations, outfalls and intake works. We offer a full range of underwater non-destructive testing techniques, including ultrasonic thickness and cathodic potential measurements, and magnetic particle inspection of weldments. Inspections are carried out by a chartered engineer and/or qualified underwater NDT technicians.
Our projects are run under the supervision of managing director Peter Jackson, who is a chartered engineer and a qualified professional diver. To complement this traditional personal involvement we operate an internal quality system, helping us to track all stages of a project from initial client contact to successful completion.
